MADAM SAGUNTHALA A/P NARAYANASAMY
The co-founder and partner at Messrs Nadzifah, Sagunthala & Associates, and heads the firm’s main branch. She has been admitted and enrolled as an advocate and solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 1995 after completing her chambering at Messrs. Kalai & Partners. Then, she was retained as a legal associate at the same firm. She graduated from University of Malaya with a Bachelor Degree in Laws with honor's in 1994.
In May 1995 until March 1996, Madam Sagunthala joined Malaysian Central Depository, a subsidiary institution of Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange whereby she actively involved in doing special researches for the amendment of Malaysian Central Depository Act. Madam Sagunthala with her co-founder Puan Nadzifah Maarof started this partnership under the name of Messrs. Nadzifah, Sagunthala& Associates in 1998.
Specialization : Madam Sagunthala joined legal practice majoring in Non-Contentious Legal Matters. She had a huge experience and knowledge in conveyancing matters including but not limited to Sale & Purchase Agreements with regard to Developers Housing Projects, Banking Loan/Financing Security Documents, 'Sub-Sale' Sale & Purchase Agreements, drafting of various Sale & Purchase Agreements, Applications for relevant Consents from State Authorities, Wills, Power of Attorney, Drafting of Islamic Bank Financing Agreements and Construction Agreements. Currently she is handling mainly Malayan Banking Berhad’s security documents such as Housing Loan agreements in respect of conventional loans and as well as facilities under Al-Bai BithaminAjil. In civil litigation matters, Madam Sagunthala has vast experience in handling cases relates to debt recovery, family law matters (divorce and custody), motor insurance claim, industrial law matters, company law and etc. Madam Sagunthala is also active giving legal advice to a few Hindu Religious Organizations and she is one of the regular speaker in Radio Bernama i.e Bernama Seithigal giving legal advice to Indian community especially on sale and purchase of properties.
